LASTPASS CHROME PLUGIN NOT WORKING WINDOWS 10
Reports saying Google Chrome is not working started popping up only a few hours ago and it appears that it’s affecting users on Windows 10 machines. This will also work on other Mozilla based browsers such as SeaMonkey, Mozilla, etc. Absolutely unacceptable quality assurance on new versions and never a quick fix. On start all extensions crash immediately, sites won’t load (empty tab, with name unknown) and even chrome://help or chrome://extensions doesn’t load. I'm going to start shopping for alternatives for our company (we use the Business version). I was already having to logout and back in constantly to get the plugin to work since the last update. The quality of this tool continues to decline with each "update". If I disable and reenable LastPass plugin and then refresh web page it works again for a while. The new Edge browser based on Chromium is now available, and it allows. In December 2018 Microsoft announced their intention to adopt the Chromium open source project for Microsoft Edge on desktop. Instead of having the hints, a blank screen is displayed. LastPass is available on the new Microsoft Edge Download the extension here and look for the new Microsoft Edge listing and click Download.
LASTPASS CHROME PLUGIN NOT WORKING UPDATE
I hope LastPass either rolls this update back or produces a fix quickly. Does not work properly anymore since new Chrome Version. I'm using the Edge extension but it sounds like the issues persist in Chrome based on the feedback I see here. Search doesn't work or always returns the same results no matter what I type, nothing in favorites. Nothing in the "Relevant" which I assume should be passwords that match the current site. In the Settings menu under Autofill, click on the Passwords drop-down and switch the toggle off so Chrome no longer offers to save your passwords. Make sure you are signed into your Chrome browser with your Google account. This can only be fixed by reinstalling the plugin. HOWEVER, when I click on 'edit' or 'launch' button nothing happens. When I do go to the vault's webpage, the search works fine for me.
Basically the extension thinks the vault is empty. The remaining entries were ' blank ' and had no username OR password. LastPass will store your Google password so you can sign onto any device or platform where you access Chrome. The extension doesn't recognize any websites that is saved in the vault. Searching for common elements (u0010, etc.)and deleting en-masse (100+ entries) After each pass, I would export again and filter with Excel. But, the plugin window that was murdered in this version doesn't work at all. Exporting the data, and filtering via Excel as Lastpass doesn't have a proper filtering function. The vault is working OK for me and if I turn on the "Show autofill icon in fields" option (which I do not normally use) I can select a valid user/pw from that dropdown. The new version has broken most functionality.
